We hope that you are delighted with every order you receive from Standardtypes, but if you are not satisfied with your items, you may return them within 7 days of delivery.
Please note that the shipping costs for the return are non-refundable. Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse these expenses. Your refund will be subject to a deduction of the original shipping fee paid at the time of purchase (UK: £6.5/kg , Europe: £16.5/ kg, Rest of the World: £25.5/ kg). This deduction is required to offset the free shipping provided with the initial postage.

You must notify us if you wish to cancel your order or return any items within 7 days of receiving your order, and return such items within a further 7 days of this notification.

Merchandise purchased with a cash coupon will not be refunded or exchanged and it cannot be used in conjunction with any promotion.

International customers (Outside UK & Eire & EU) please note that we can only accept returns for store credit or exchange on items where you have changed your mind about the purchase for non exhaustive reasons such as incorrect fitting, size etc. This does not apply to items that are deemed to be faulty.

Before completing the return, please make sure that your items meet the standards indicated under ‘Product Conditions’ below.

PRODUCT CONDITIONS

All items should be returned to us new, unused and with all Standardtypes' tags still attached. Any items that are returned to us in a damaged, soiled or otherwise altered and in less than perfect condition may not be accepted and may be returned to the customer.

a. Colours

Every effort has been made to ensure the colours of each product are displayed as accurately as possible. However, as computer models and screens may vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of colour is completely accurate.

Please note, items should not be returned to us without prior notice. All return requests should be submitted through the returns section of www.stanardtypes.com. Tax Concerns Regarding International and European Purchases

Please be aware that your order will be dispatched using a DAP (Delivered at Place) service, and upon its arrival in the destination country, you may be required to settle duties and taxes. The designated courier, whether UPS, Royal Mail, FedEx, or DHL, will reach out to you before delivering the goods.

Regrettably, we have no influence over these charges and cannot provide an estimate, as customs policies and import duties vary across different countries. To avoid unexpected charges, we recommend reaching out to your local customs office for the latest information before placing an order.

It is essential for customers to assume full responsibility for any parcels returned to us due to unpaid customs charges. The refund, if applicable, will be subject to deductions for postal charges, return shipment costs, customs charges, and handling fees.

b. Pricing and Availability

Whilst we use our best endeavours to ensure that all prices appearing on the site are accurate, we do not guarantee that they are error-free and reserve our right to rectify any errors. If we discover an error in the price of any products that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming or cancelling your order. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If your credit/debit card is not denominated in US Dollars (USD), the final price charged in your currency will be calculated by your issuing bank in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction. Excluding USD the currencies shown on the web shop are a guideline and we do not guarantee that prices remain accurate to the how you will be charged by your bank. d. Customs and import charges

Taxes and duties applicable to your order depend on the shipping country of your order:

Customers purchasing from a country served as Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) will incur relevant import duty and tax. These costs are included in the final purchase price. Customers purchasing from a court served, as Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) will be charged for items purchased and shipping costs only. Import duty or tax costs will be invoiced to you directly from courier companies or postal office. We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost prior to purchase completion.

Price match

Standardtypes consistently works toward maintaining competitive prices on everything we carry and for some brands we stick to the prices determined by our suppliers. However, if you find the same product for a lower price (in the same size, colour and specification) we will be happy to price match. Please follow the below criteria when considering: The item must be full price and not subject to any promotion or sales offers. The item must be available for everyone to buy. We will match the price shown online, not including any additional promotional/member discounts or codes. The item to be price matched has to be identical to the one listed at standardtypes.com, and currently in-stock on both sites. Although we are more than happy to do so in almost all situations, we do reserve the right not to alter our listed price. Price match orders can not be exchanged or refunded. Cash Coupon

In the event that a customer is entitled to a Cash Coupon it will be given via email by our Customer Care department. Cash coupons can only be used online at www.standardtypes.co.uk. Cash coupons can only be used on orders associated with your original account. This means, cash coupons cannot be transferred to another person or account. Cash coupon may not be purchased. Cash coupons are provided to you when purchased items have been returned and the return is eligible for a cash coupon. Purchase amounts that exceed the value of the Cash Coupon will require an additional method of payment for the balance due.
